  • Senior Frontend Developer





    We are looking for a talented Senior Engineer to join our frontend team. This role will work with other engineers improving, supporting and fixing bugs in our products.  It’s also expected to contribute to other teams across the business. The ideal candidate has significant experience with ReactJS library, but experience with HTML5/CSS3/JS will be valuable. He must be at ease working in an agile environment with little supervision. This person should embody a passion for continuous improvement and test-driven development.
    − Has the ability to quickly learn, understand customer/business requirements, design/transform them to working software, Drive improvements & simplification to increase overall efficiency

    − Analysis and design of technical solutions with the review of Domain Architect of a feature request from the customers.

    − Development new components and optimize existing ones for our growing shared ReactJS component library.

    You will be responsible for the 24/7 operation of Optima and customer databases. You will be a key part in the deployment process and the transition through the non-production environments into live.

    How Will Success Be Evaluated?

People with solid knowledge in Java development and development experience are required for professional environments.
    Knowledge in Oracle PL / SQL development will be valuable, as well as knowledge and experience in .NET.   • BI Developer




    Responsible for development of technical analysis and design, new programming, modifications, scheduling, tuning, testing and maintenance of systems in support of new and existing Business Intelligence (BI) and other projects.

    Consult with client groups to assess user needs and requirements.

    Perform data analysis, design and development of new and ongoing business intelligence (BI) tools involving complex EDW structures OR on OLTP systems.

    Provide technical design, coding, testing, implementation, maintenance, system and technical support for BI initiatives.

    Conduct and participate in code walkthroughs and document technical design. Assist in Quality Control testing. Troubleshoot and solve technical problems.

    Meticulously build BI applications following software methodologies defined.

    Follow the release cycles and implement on-time delivery of bug fixes, change requests and enhancements.

    Monitor Dashboard Reporting and Presentation Layer functioning and performance and proactively fix issues as found. Support the performance of systems.

    Support Source upgrades, Hardware/Software upgrade projects with impact analysis, fixes and end-to-end testing. Provide operational support for failures and outages.

    Provide effort estimates for BI development/enhancements.

    Closely work with support teams to handle planned migration and other major deployments.

    Monitor the BI environments to proactively identify, troubleshoot and resolve issues.

    Bachelor’s degree and five years of relevant experience in Computer Science, or Engineering or a combination of education and relevant experience.

  • Product Delivery Manager




    The Product & Development organization at Optima consists primarily of Software Development, Quality Assurance, and Product professionals who are responsible for Optima’s suite of products, from inception to delivery and maintenance. This includes our Betting engine, Player Account Management, CRM and Business Intelligence along with integrations with many Betting, Gaming and Payments providers.  
    Our teams are cross-functional, self-organized, and autonomous. We are agile, do Scrum, and collaboration is part of our DNA: each team is owner of their domains and components. This approach requires a big amount of teamwork and maturity however we strongly believe it is the best way to create software and enjoy our daily work.
    As Product Delivery Manager you will lead a software development team, own their backlog, organize the team’s scrum events, help them do their job efficiently understanding the technicalities of your team’s components, and deliver our features and products together with them.  
    You will also work closely with Area Product Owners and Architects in analyzing the scope of initiatives and coordinate with other Product Delivery Managers to map dependencies, plan sprints, and release to market. 

    − Close collaboration with the Area Product Owner on overall Area roadmap and prioritization.  
    − Backlog management, defining long-term and short-term work priorities of the development teams in accordance with the Area’s roadmap and other teams’ dependencies. 

    − Break down the roadmap initiatives into epics and stories, eliciting their functional and non-functional requirements. Work with various teams (e.g. technical, commercial, compliance and programme management) to ensure their requirements are collected and prioritised alongside product requirements. 

    − Provide an Agile working environment for the team in accordance with Optima’s Software Development Lifecycle and organize the team’s scrum events (i.e. daily scrums, sprint planning, grooming, sprint reviews and retrospectives). 

    − Act as team manager, gathering support from the Development Strategy Director to develop the technical strength of the team. 

    − Coordinate release activities, including clear and detailed plans or checklists for testing and roll-out. 

    − Evaluate the quality of on-going project work efforts and ensure production proceeds according to schedule.  

    − Collaborate with the development team and testers on software test plans and activities to ensure high-quality deliverables.  
    − Experience of working as Product/Project Manager or Technical Product Manager with Scrum agile delivery methods at least two years. 

    − Proven ability to manage medium-scale projects and coordinate with multiple technical teams and product managers. 

    − Technical background and experience with SOA architectures and RESTful API design and development at a Product Management level, with the ability to understand at a high level. 

    − Experience in iGaming, and specifically in the product domain of your team. 

    − Proficiency in English and availability to travel regularly and work abroad from other office locations.
